High-definition concerts for the summer (Green Day, Linkin Park, Michael Bubble & Josh Groban)
Warner Music Entertainment is pleased to announce four live concert films, released on Blu-ray for the very first time on June 22nd. The titles selected for release are Green Day: “Bullet in a Bible”, Linkin Park: “Road to Revolution”, Michael Buble: “Caught in the Act”, and Josh Groban: “Awake Live”.
Green Day: “Bullet in a Bible”
After the success of the CD/DVD release of 'Bullet in a Bible', this Blu-ray documents the bands biggest ever live shows, playing to over 130,000 people at the Milton Keynes Bowl. This concert clearly demonstrates why Green Day are renowned as one of the worlds greatest live acts, featuring classic tracks 'Basket Case' and 'Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)' as well as singles from the bands American Idiot album 'Holliday' and 'Wake Me Up When September Ends'. Bonus Material includes exclusive backstage footage as the band prepares to take the stage.
Linkin Park: “Road to Revolution”
Linkin Park's second live DVD (their first Blu-ray release) features the UK debut of their 'Projekt Revolution' festival at the Milton Keynes Bowl, marking the first time that Jay-Z appeared live with the band outside of the U.S. With a set encompassing all three of their studio albums, Linkin Park entertain the crowd by combining classic tracks from their back catalogue such as 'In the End', 'One Step Closer' and 'Numb', with collaborations with Jay Z and Mike Shinoda's side project, Fort Minor. Bonus Material includes 3 hidden tracks.
Michael Buble: “Caught in the Act”
Recorded at America's world famous PBS studios during the stations December Pledge season, 'Caught in the Act' features stand out tracks from the platinum selling and Grammy nominated CD album of the same name, as well as a selection of original songs and cover versions taken from Bublè's previous albums, including, 'Come Fly With Me', 'Felling Good' and 'Save the last Dance for me'. This landmark show is a standout performance, featuring a spine tingling duet with Laura Pausini and a guest appearance from Josh Groban. Bonus Material includes music videos and a documentary.
Josh Groban: “Awake Live”
Josh Groban's first ever Blu-ray release, 'Awake Live', captures the Grammy Award-winning singer's performance at Salt Lake City's EnergySolutions Arena in front of a sold-out crowd of 15,000 fans. Whilst the majority of the set is composed of songs off the 'Alive' album, the concert also pays homage to Groban's extensive back catalogue with classic tracks such as 'Canto Alla Vita' and 'You Raise Me Up'. Bonus Material includes 2 featurettes, a behind-the-scenes documentary 'The Making of Awake Live' and 'Behind the Orange Curtain', a back stage pass to Josh before he takes the stage.
